David Brinker

David is the President of Mid-America Golfing Events and 10-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Finalist. David won the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive title (Legends Division) and has won multiple additional U.S. and international long-drive championships. His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas. He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt. He recorded the third-longest drive of that competition with a distance of 399 yards. In addition, David is a regular at the United States Senior Long Drive Championships. David has a flair for bringing excitement and entertainment to both corporate and charitable events. Through his efforts, he has helped raise in excess of $2,000,000 for charitable events during his long-drive tenure.

Jason Huska

Jason Huska joined Topgolf Overland Park in September 2015 and became lead instructor in August 2016. With collegiate experience in competitive golf at UMKC, coaching, and instruction, he has a great understanding of what it takes to develop golfers of all skill levels. He has always had a love for golf and is excited to be able to extend this passion to his students. Jason’s goal is to create a fun and engaging atmosphere while developing each student’s individual golfing ability.

Austin Jarchow

Austin has been working as a golf professional in the Kansas City area since summer 2012. Before turning professional, he had a standout career at Lee’s Summit West High School that led him to the University of Central Missouri. While there, he played on the golf team and studied in the kinesiology department, allowing him to understand more about the body and how it works. After graduating in 2013, Austin has continued to perfect his teaching methods by accruing a number of certifications, such as NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Golf Fitness Specialist, Titleist Performance Institute Golf Level 2 Certified, SNAG golf certified, and a KBS and True Temper shaft fitter. Austin was elected to PGA Membership in January of 2018.

Jared Paul

Jared Paul began his career with Topgolf in September 2015, as a lead instructor at Topgolf Spring. He is originally from Mulvane, Kans., where he started playing golf at the age of eight, and continued on to play at Southwestern College. After graduation, he played professionally for four years on The Adams Tour. He has a great love for the game of golf and hopes that his passion for teaching will instill the love for the game in his students as well. When he is not giving lessons or out on the golf course, you will find him watching the Chiefs, Royals, or Kansas Jayhawks! Rock Chalk Jayhawk, GO KU!

Jon Snyder

Jon Snyder is the owner and a professional instructor at Imperial Golf, one of Kansas City’s fastest-growing golf businesses. Growing up in Iowa Jon developed a passion for the game at an early age, getting involved in such events as the John Deere Classic and working seasonally on the course maintenance crew at Glynn’s Creek Golf Course. He went on to play golf for the local high school, making varsity freshman year and going to State senior year. After graduation, Jon studied landscape architecture at Iowa State for two years, volunteered for AmeriCorps for one year, and then enrolled in the Golf Academy of America program to finish college.  While he was there, Jon was able to cultivate the desire he had for teaching and growing the game of golf through his classes, as well as participating in other events like the World Amateur and Father/Son Classic. After graduating with honors and Player’s Credentials from the academy, Jon transitioned immediately into to a teaching career in Kansas City in 2012. He has remained here since, continuing to pursue the vision created at the Golf Academy in Myrtle Beach, to impact the world of golf in a major way.  Imperial Golf was recognized by the Golf Academy of America in 2017 and 2018, earning Jon top-100 alumni honors in back-to-back years. Imperial Golf continues to grow, with several students earning college scholarships for golf in the past few years.

Todd Stice

Todd Stice is the Director of Rules and Competitions at the Kansas City golf Assocation. A native of Keokuk, Iowa, Todd played collegiate golf at Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., lettering in three of those years.  Todd was a club professional from 1995 until 2015.  He most recently served as the Head Professional at Oakwood Country Club in Kansas City from 2009 until 2015. Todd lives in Lee’s Summit, Mo., with his wife, Susan, and his two boys, Noah and Adam. Todd also volunteers as a youth soccer coach and enjoys playing in numerous adult soccer leagues as well. Todd is also a huge follower of Sporting Kansas City, the K.C. Royals, the K.C. Chiefs and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Stop by and learn how the most sweeping changes to the Rules of Golf in a generation will affect the way you play the game this year!

J.T. Watson

J.T. started playing golf at the age of 6, with the help and guidance of his Dad and Grandpa, and continued into high school, winning a district title in 2002. Golf, however, was not his primary sport, and despite only making the team his freshman year, J.T. spent two years playing college basketball in Portland, Ore., for a small NAIA school. Wanting to get back into golf, he enrolled in the Golf Academy of America program in 2011 in Myrtle Beach, S.C., graduating with honors and earning his Players Credential. In 2014, while working in Orlando and preparing to enter U.S. Amateur events as well as U.S. Open qualifiers, J.T. achieved a +4 handicap and was playing the best golf of his career. Being no better than a 10 handicap in high school, the transition as a golfer from average to top level has helped J.T. understand what every student has to go through in order to continually achieve goals. In November of 2016, J.T. joined Imperial Golf as their marketing director to help grow their presence online as well as cultivate new ideas for growth. Since joining the team, he has become a dynamic part of the company with Jon as they set their sights on impacting the game on a major level.
